YOUR ASSOCIATION INFLUENCE YOUR DESTINATION

Life is fine and things move well when we live in accordance to principles. To some people, the people the hang around have no influence to their characters and destination. This could be true but not with most people. But I want to tell you through this write up that the people you hang around with have a great influence to your character and above all your destination in life. So it is said “it is better to hang around a rich man and wash his care than to hang around poor people”.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:33”DO NOT BE MISLED, BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD CHARACTER”

So take note of the people you hang around with because they add 20% to your life, and the people they also hang around with add 16% making it 36% of influence from your associations.

There once leaves a man who had six children and they all leaved in a neighborhood were most children had no interests in education and when this man’s children grow up, they too developed the habit of saying school is a scam (school na scam) and had no interests for education and all ended up as school drop outs. The situation put the father in a thinking mode for a long time.  As days moved on the man had a call from his company, informing him of his transfer to another town as manager. so he had to relocate with his family to his new work station.

After 3 weeks in his new work station, his children started developing interests for education because all their neighbor’s children loved education. This was as a result of their new environment and association. This all happened because whenever the children meet to play, they discuss more of events that happened in school that day, so this made the man’s children lack words and ability to feet in during discussions, so they all developed love for education and from then asked their father to put them back to school.

From this story you have seen how association influence destination, and from this story you can see why some parent prohibit their children from playing with some particular group of children in their neighbor hoods

 

So as an entrepreneur, engineer, doctor, leader, pastor, famer, teacher, student, take good care of the people you hang around with because they play a great role in your life
